DSV acquires full ownership of Indian company

DSV Air & Sea Holding A/S − part of Danish global forwarding and logistics group DSV − has announced its purchase of the remaining 28% of the shares in Indian company DSV Air & Sea Pvt Ltd. The latter now becomes a wholly-owned operation.

"The acquisition has taken place as part of the efforts of the DSV Group to further strengthen its presence in India and thereby obtain an increased share of the growth in Asia and Oceania, where DSV is represented by its own companies in 14 countries and has more than 1,000 employees," stated DSV.

"The budgeted revenue of DSV Air & Sea Pvt Ltd for 2008 is DKK 140m (€19m) and the company has 86 employees working at the four locations in India."
