HELSINKI, June 16 (WorldACD) - Itella Logistics, part of the Itella Corporation (formerly Finnish Post) has signed an agreement to take full control of Universal Spedisjon Bergen AS, subject to the approval of Norway's competition authorities.
Itella Logistics has had a 50% shareholding in the company for the last few years.
"This strategic acquisition will strengthen our position in Norway as one of the leading logistics operators in the market. Universal Spedisjon Bergen has developed successfully logistics services within national and international transport, freight-forwarding, and contract logistics," said Kjell-Arne Eloranta, Managing Director of Itella Logistics.
