Schenker, a provider of logistics and freight transportation services, has acquired the remaining 49% shareholding from Siemens in their Schenker Industrial Logistics joint venture.

The company was founded in 2003 as a joint venture between Schenker and Siemens. The management of the company's business operation is the responsibility of DB Schenker.

Schenker Industrial Logistics has concentrated on providing contract logistics solutions for industrial customers in the high-tech and technology sector. The company employs around 650 people at 33 locations and in 40 depots in five European countries.
